Job summary

Oklahoma Blood Institute seeks an experienced accounting and finance professional in Oklahoma City to lead accounting policy implementation, FP&A, budgeting, and planning. You will bridge detailed GAAP work with executive-level guidance to improve revenue, control costs, and strengthen operations.

The ideal candidate has CPA credentials, five years of progressive accounting experience, and strong GAAP knowledge (ASC 606/842, CECL).

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Minimum five years progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor's and Master's in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong GAAP knowledge with ASC 606, ASC 842 and CECL.
• Experience with IRS Form 990 and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Prepare monthly and annual forecasts vs. plan and actuals.
• Manage budget variance processes and reporting.
• Develop financial models using historical data and operations.
• Provide actionable insights to CFO and leadership.
• Prepare financial statements and summaries for boards.
• Support implementation of new accounting standards with auditors.
• Collaborate with department leaders to reduce costs.
