Conferences and Institutes is seeking Youth Program Counselors for COYHL to be held July 13-18.
Youth Program Counselors are responsible for the 24-hour supervision and safety of minors participating in this program. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of daily program administration, youth compliance policies, emergency response, communication with the Program Director and Manager, medication collection and verification, and oversight of health information. Leaders may assist with instructional content and activities.
Leaders must monitor safety, whereabouts, and behavior of participants at all times, including non-instructional periods. They should be prepared to respond quickly and calmly to issues concerning behavior, mental health, or acclimation, and follow notification protocols as needed.
