Job summary

Chimes Covington is seeking a server to provide friendly and professional service, taking orders, delivering meals and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment in Covington, LA.

You will greet guests, explain specials, input orders into the POS, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy and timely service. Compliance with liquor policies is required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverage including taking orders, delivering and clearing items.
• Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain specials/promotions.
• Take orders and input into the POS to inform the kitchen.
• Retrieve orders from kitchen, confirm accuracy and deliver to guests.
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Adhere to all state/federal regulations and liquor policies regarding alcohol service to minors or intoxicated guests.
