Job summary

Ethos Risk Services in the United States is seeking an experienced Field Investigator to perform stationary and mobile surveillance, gather high-quality video and photographic evidence, and produce thorough reports for clients.

You will work independently, often in your vehicle, with early start times and potential overnight assignments. A valid PI license or willingness to obtain one is required where applicable; a reliable personal vehicle is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven covert surveillance skills and ability to capture high-quality video footage.
• Ability to draft thorough, organized investigative reports.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• A reliable personal vehicle, preferably with tinted windows.
• Access to surveillance equipment (camcorder, covert camera).
• Reliable laptop, cell phone and internet service for tasks.
• Active Private Investigator license or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surveillance by reviewing case information and prior reports.
• Conduct stationary and mobile surveillance to capture video evidence.
• Draft detailed, court-ready investigative reports summarizing findings.
• Finalize case files and upload video footage using a personal laptop at day’s end.
• Coordinate with field supervisor and operations team for guidance.
