Aimbridge Hospitality, Manhattan Courtyard Aggieville seeks a Chief Engineer to keep all hotel systems in top condition and to lead a technical team. You’ll manage maintenance requests, ensure guest comfort, and help control costs for a thriving property.

The position requires 5+ years in hotel maintenance or a related field with supervisory experience and current HVAC/electrical certifications. A comprehensive benefits package is included for this full-time role.

• 5+ years hotel or related experience, or 2-year degree with 3+ years, or 4-year degree with 2+ years.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Current certifications as required (e.g., HVAC, pool, electrical) and licensed to operate boilers and chillers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest rooms and public spaces to brand standards.
• Lead, train, and schedule the engineering team.
• Perform fire safety inspections and drills.
• Respond to maintenance requests to boost guest service scores.
• Inspect grounds, manage debris, Lost and Found operations.
• Access sensitive areas responsibly and represent the company.

• Team Captain: Lead, train, and cheer on the engineering squad, scheduling shifts and inspiring top performance.
• Safety Superhero: Run fire safety inspections and epic drills, making sure everyone stays safe and sound.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Licensed to operate/repair boilers and chillers per local laws
