Job summary

Courtyard Long Island City NY - Night Auditor at Aimbridge Hospitality is responsible for overnight operations, welcoming guests and handling check-ins from 11 PM to 7 AM while balancing the day\'s transactions. This role requires open weekend availability, with opportunities for additional Front Desk PM shifts.

With FLSD certification, a $2/HR increase is possible. Strong teamwork with other departments and basic Windows/Office skills help ensure smooth, accurate nightly processing.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a hotel or related field; supervisory experience is a plus.
• FLSD certification can increase rate by $2/hour.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests during the overnight shift (11 PM–7 AM) and handle check-ins/reservations.
• Balance the books, finalize transactions, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Perform regular security walks and maintain guest safety.
• Create Daily Flash Reports for management on overnight activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to keep operations smooth after hours.

KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Nighttime Welcome Wagon: Greet guests with warmth and efficiency during the overnight shift (11 PM – 7 AM). Handle check-ins, reservations, and those quirky late-night questions like a pro.
• Master of Midnight Math: Own the Night Audit! Balance the books, finalize transactions, and make sure every number is in its perfect place. Detail lovers, this is your time to shine.
• Guardian of the Glow-Up: Keep the property safe and sound with regular security walks. You’re the calm, watchful presence that helps guests sleep easy.
• The Nightly Newsroom: Create daily reports and the Daily Flash Report to give management the inside scoop on what went down while the world was sleeping.
• Teamwork After Twilight: Work hand-in-hand with other departments to keep operations smooth and service top-notch—even in the wee hours.
• Tech-Savvy Problem Solver: If you’re fluent in Windows, spreadsheets, and word docs—and you’ve got a knack for solving problems solo—you’ll fit right in.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework beneficial.
• 1 year in a hotel or related field. Supervisory experience is a plus.
