Job summary

The City of Euless, TX seeks a Courtroom Security Officer to help maintain a safe courtroom environment. Under supervision, you will operate the courtroom metal detector and ensure entrants comply with policies.

You will interact professionally with the public and staff, inspect belongings, monitor entrance and exit, and complete required paperwork. Qualifications include at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a clean background per city policy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must meet city drug/tattoo policies and have a valid Texas driver’s license or be able to obtain one.
• Clean background with no offenses as specified by city policy.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with the public, coworkers, and others.
• Provide court security for the Euless Municipal Court and personnel.
• Inspect and search belongings as individuals enter the courtroom.
• Monitor individuals entering and leaving the courtroom.
• Complete necessary paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
