The Associate Attorney role in Little Rock provides extensive courtroom experience with regular appearances, reviewing new claims and pleadings, and supporting all phases of the litigation process. You will develop knowledge of court procedures, internal controls, and firm and client policies, with no billable hour requirements, while managing a personal work

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate required and Arkansas bar admission.
• Additional licenses in states where firm operates are valuable.

Responsibilities

• Appear in court on behalf of the firm when and where needed.
• Review new claims for compliance with firm and client standards.
• Review and approve pleadings filed with the courts, including complaints and motions.
• Draft motions and responses for contested matters as needed.
• Argue contested motions and conduct trials and arbitrations.
• Manage telephonic and written communication with opposing counsel.
• Prepare and respond to discovery or oversee counterclaims involving the firm or its clients.
