Job summary

Cayuse Language Connect, LLC in the United States is seeking Mandarin Dialects interpreters to provide court interpretation services across hearings, including remote work options and on‑demand on‑site support.

The role is part-time hourly non‑exempt, focusing on accuracy, confidentiality and cultural sensitivity. Interpreters will handle real‑time interpretation, documentation and reporting for court proceedings as assigned, both remotely and in person as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of court interpretation, immigration, trafficking hearings.
• Native or near-native fluency in English and Mandarin Dialects: Min, Wu, Yue, Jin, Gan, Hakka, Xiang, Huizhou, Pinghua.
• Familiarity with legal terminology.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and impartiality.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret in real time, preserving meaning, intent and tone.
• Clarify non-verbal cues and culture-specific concepts when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all interactions.
• Complete required documentation, logs, and reports per protocols.
• Comply with applicable laws, policies and codes of professional conduct.
• Other duties as assigned.
