Responsibilities include monitoring surveillance tools, assisting deputies, and maintaining clear documentation of events and actions. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and related security experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year security experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Conducts security inspections of the courthouse and acts on discrepancies.
• Searches individuals and packages using scanning equipment and detectors.
• Detains individuals who may have violated laws or regulations.
• Removes weapons and contraband from entrants to the courthouse.
• Monitors cameras, alarms, and elevators; provides secure escort as needed.
• Assists deputies and helps safeguard lives.
• Renders first aid and CPR when necessary.
• Documents incidents and maintains daily activity logs and inventories.
