Responsibilities

• Ensures safety, security, and orderly conduct at the courthouse.
• Maintains security checkpoints.
• Transports and guards prisoners; uses restraints as needed.
• Serves bench warrants, writs, and subpoenas.
• Conducts background investigations and logs data.
• Prepares and files incident reports.
• Collects money from judgments and courth proceedings.
• Interacts with the public, county departments, and staff.
