Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to support store operations and customer service. You will engage with customers, help with daily tasks, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment.

Responsibilities include cart retrieval, trash collection, snow removal in winter, handling returns, cleaning duties, and supporting multiple store departments to ensure smooth service and a clean, organized store floor.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Can lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, entrance, check lanes and parking areas.
• Work with departments across Health & Beauty, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card & Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
