Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member in Wisconsin to support store operations with flexible, part-time hours. You’ll gain exposure to retail tasks across departments and learn customer service fundamentals.

Key duties include cart retrieval, trash collection, basic cleaning, and assisting service desks. Ideal candidates are organized, good listeners with strong communication, able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Work with departments across store.
• This job may include other duties as assigned.

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service.

Meijer Courtesy Team Members enjoy interacting with people and know what ‘above and beyond’ customer service means.

This position is part time and would be varied hours. It is for odd jobs around the store, garbage's, cleaning restrooms, pushing carts, etc. Would be independent work, can be physical of lifting or pushing and would be around 25-30 hours a week

What You'll be Doing:

• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
