Job summary

Rochester Motor Cars in SE Minnesota is seeking part-time Courtesy Shuttle Drivers to help our busy dealership keep customers moving smoothly while their vehicles are serviced. As a Shuttle Driver you will greet customers, transport them to homes or offices, assist with entering and exiting vehicles, and report any vehicle maintenance needs.

You will also use the dealership's mobile device to coordinate routes and timing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and must be insurable by the dealership’s liability insurer.
• Evening, weekend and holiday hours may be required.
• Professional appearance and neat work area in accordance with company policy.
• Must pass background check and drug screen prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Drive customers to homes or places of business and pick them up after service.
• Maintain safe driving and good judgment at all times.
• Keep a timely shuttle route and inform customers of departure/arrival times.
• Assist customers in entering and exiting vehicles.
• Use a mobile device to communicate with the dealership and report service disruptions.
• Track pickup/drop-off activity with the Quickride program.
• Notify the service manager of vehicle maintenance needs (oil changes, tires, etc.).
• Perform general cleanup of assigned vehicles (dusting, vacuuming, etc.).
• Keep vehicles neat and organized and fuel as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Rochester Motor Cars, the premier auto dealer in SE Minnesota, is currently searching for part-time Courtesy Shuttle Drivers for our busy dealership.

The Shuttle Driver provides customers with a positive service experience by driving them to or picking them up from their homes or offices while service is being performed on their vehicles.

Core Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Drives customers to their homes or places of business and picks them up after their vehicle is repaired.
• Always uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
• Keeps a timely shuttle route and advises customer of time of departure and arrival.
• Assists customers in getting in and out of vehicles.
• Operates mobile device to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Quickride program – tracking customer pickups and drop offs.
• Notifies service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance.
• Performs general cleanup of assigned vehicles included but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, wiping, and rinsing.
• Keeps assigned vehicles neat and organized.
• Fills vehicle with fuel.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and must be insurable by Rochester Motor Cars liability insurance provider.
• Works’ evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required.
