Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Courtesy Officer to maintain a welcoming and secure environment at a multifamily community. This part-time position offers income supplementation, resident rapport-building, and rent discounts, while contributing to a positive community atmosphere.

Responsibilities include patrolling the property, responding to non-emergency needs, assisting with lockouts, and coordinating with local law enforcement as required.

Qualifications

• Active enforcement officer experience or military background preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to stay calm and professional.

Responsibilities

• Walk the grounds daily to maintain a visible security presence.
• Respond to noise complaints and help de-escalate situations professionally.
• Assist residents with lockouts and other non-emergency needs.
• Monitor common areas (pools, laundry, fitness centers) and report maintenance needs.
• Check lighting and report any issues to management.
• Observe and report vandalism, suspicious activity, or vehicle violations.
• Support community safety by conducting routine patrols and coordinating with local law enforcement when needed.
