Responsibilities include:

1. Bagging groceries efficiently and carefully, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Following best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
3. Assisting in removing merchandise from carts at checkout.
4. Offering to help customers load bags into their vehicles.
5. Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
6. Informing customers about grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
7. Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
8. Cleaning spills, trash, and maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the store.
9. Handling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for product location and price checks.
10. Reinforcing safety programs, complying with safety procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions.
11. Adhering to food safety regulations and practicing preventive maintenance of equipment.
12. Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
13. Following all legal and company guidelines, and working cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
14. Managing conflicts professionally, acting with honesty and integrity, and seeking assistance when needed.
15. Supporting customers with minors, those with special needs, and older adults.
