Job Description

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Bag groceries at check out for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves, gather and return bascarts, and clean spills and trash inside and outside the store.
• Handle seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, conduct price checks, and reinforce safety programs.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers with questions and supporting diverse customer needs.
• Follow all relevant laws and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
