Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
3. Assist in removing merchandise from carts for checkout.
4. Offer help to customers with loading bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves and gather carts.
7. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash.
8. Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for product location and price checks.
9. Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions.
10. Follow food safety regulations and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
11. Create a welcoming environment, answer customer questions, and adhere to laws and company policies.
12. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, act with honesty, and seek assistance when needed.
13. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
14. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
