Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently while ensuring items are not damaged and striving to bag at least five items per bag.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing merchandise from baskets for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Maintaining cleanliness by cleaning spills, collecting trash inside and outside the store.
• Handling and assembling seasonal merchandise.
• Understanding store layout, locating products, and conducting price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforcing safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to all safety and food safety regulations.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers with questions and providing excellent service.
• Following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts, and acting with honesty and integrity.
• Supporting customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
