Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from baskets for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers of grocery specials.
7. Return merchandise to shelves and gather shopping carts.
8. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash.
9. Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location.
10. Conduct price checks for cashiers and reinforce safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
11. Adhere to food safety regulations and perform equipment inspections.
12. Create a welcoming environment, answer customer questions, and support all store operations.
13. Follow all applicable laws, safety, and store policies.
14. Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflict and acting with integrity.
15. Support customers with special needs and minors, with or without reasonable accommodations.
