Minimum Position Qualifications:

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Retail Experience is preferred but not necessary

Essential Job Functions:

• Bag groceries at check-out for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts for return.
• Clean spills, collect trash inside the store and parking lot, and clean all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures, identifying unsafe conditions, and notifying management.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment regularly and notify management of repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
• Follow all local, state, federal laws, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts reasonably and professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
• Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform all essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
