Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and striving for at least five items per bag.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
3. Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves and gather shopping carts.
7. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash.
8. Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with price checks and store layout navigation.
9. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
10. Support preventive maintenance and communicate repair needs.
11. Create a welcoming environment for customers and answer product questions.
12. Follow all applicable laws and company policies.
13. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
14. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
15. Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
16. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
