Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and informing customers of grocery specials.
• Returning merchandise to shelves, gathering and returning bascarts, and cleaning spills and trash inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise, understanding store layout, locating products, and conducting price checks.
• Reinforcing safety programs, complying with safety procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs.
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products.
• Following all laws and company guidelines, working cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts, acting with honesty and integrity, and providing support to individuals with special needs.
• Performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
