Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at check out for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts for return.
7. Clean spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
8. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
9. Reinforce safety programs, adhere to food safety regulations, and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
10. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers with questions about products.
11. Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
12. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts appropriately.
13. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
14. Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
15. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
