Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and striving for at least five items per bag.
2. Follow best practices for bagging using various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return bascarts, and clean spills and trash inside and outside the store.
7. Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for locating products and conducting price checks.
8. Reinforce safety programs, comply with regulations, and report unsafe conditions.
9. Practice food safety, inspect equipment, and notify management of repairs.
10. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
11. Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
12. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts appropriately.
13. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
14. Follow directions and seek help when needed to resolve issues.
15. Support and assist diverse customer groups, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
16. Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
