Job Description

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and striving for at least five items per bag.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of shopping carts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves.
7. Gather and return shopping carts to designated areas.
8. Clean spills, collect trash inside the store and parking lot, and clean all areas inside and outside the store.
9. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
10. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
11. Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
12. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
13. Inspect equipment and notify maintenance of repairs needed.
14. Create a welcoming environment, answer questions about products, and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
15. Follow all legal and company guidelines.
16. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
17. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
18. Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
19. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications
