Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag and ensuring contents are not damaged.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves.
• Gather and return bascarts to designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise and understand the store layout for product location and price checks.
• Reinforce safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers with questions about products.
• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts professionally, and act with honesty and integrity.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
• Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
