Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
3. Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers of grocery specials.
7. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather shopping carts.
8. Clean spills, collect trash inside and outside the store.
9. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
10. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
11. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions or accidents.
12. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
13. Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
14. Create a welcoming environment for customers.
15. Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
16. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts calmly, act with honesty and integrity, and follow directions.
17. Support customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
18. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
