• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at check out for customers, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers of grocery specials.
7. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts.
8. Clean spills, pick up trash inside the store and parking lot.
9. Clean all areas inside and outside of the store.
10. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
11. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
12. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions or incidents.
13. Adhere to food safety regulations.
14. Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
15. Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products.
16. Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
17. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
18. Manage conflicts in a non-confrontational manner.
19. Act with honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
20. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
21. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
22. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
