Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag while preventing damage.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing customer's merchandise from the bottom of bascarts for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and returning merchandise to store shelves.
• Gathering and returning bascarts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Handling and assembling seasonal merchandise.
• Understanding store layout, locating products, and conducting price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforcing safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to food safety regulations.
• Inspecting equipment and notifying management of repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment, answering questions about products, and assisting customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
• Working cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts calmly, and acting with honesty and integrity.
• Following directions, seeking assistance when needed, and performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
