Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently and carefully, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
• Assisting in removing merchandise from baskets for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, trash, and maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and assisting with store layout and product location.
• Conducting price checks for cashiers and reinforcing safety procedures.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and reporting equipment issues.
• Creating a welcoming environment and assisting customers with questions.
• Following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts calmly, and acting with integrity.
• Supporting customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
