Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at check out for customers, striving for at least five items per bag while ensuring contents are not damaged.
2. Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts, returning them to designated areas.
7. Clean spills, collect trash inside store and parking lot, and clean all areas inside and outside the store.
8. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
9. Understand the store's layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
10. Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
11. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
12. Inspect equipment regularly and notify management of repairs needed.
13. Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products.
14. Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
15. Work cooperatively in high-paced, sometimes stressful environments and manage conflicts reasonably.
16. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
17. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
18. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
19. Perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
