Job Description

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout for customers, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts for return.
7. Clean spills, collect trash inside the store and parking lot, and clean all areas inside and outside the store.
8. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
9. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
10. Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or accidents.
11. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
12. Perform preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting repairs.
13. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers with questions about products.
14. Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
15. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts professionally.
16. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
17. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
18. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
19. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
