Job Description

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return bascarts, and clean spills, trash, and all store areas.
7. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
8. Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions or accidents.
9. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
10. Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
11. Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products.
12. Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
13. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts professionally.
14. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
15. Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
16. Support and assist with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
17. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
