Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at checkout for customers, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather shopping carts.
7. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash.
8. Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for product location and price checks.
9. Reinforce safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
10. Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
11. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
12. Follow all applicable laws and company policies.
13. Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts professionally.
14. Act with honesty and integrity, following directions and seeking assistance when needed.
15. Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
16. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
