Job Description: Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger

We are committed to creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Our Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger is responsible for bagging groceries at checkout, assisting customers with loading their bags into their cars, and maintaining a clean and safe environment inside and outside the store.

Responsibilities include:

1. Bagging groceries efficiently while ensuring items are not damaged and striving for at least five items per bag.
2. Assisting in removing customer's merchandise from baskets for checkout and offering help with loading bags into vehicles.
3. Performing basic shelf conditioning, returning merchandise to shelves, and gathering bascarts.
4. Cleaning spills, collecting trash, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store and parking lot.
5. Handling seasonal merchandise and assisting with store layout and product location.
6. Following safety procedures, adhering to food safety regulations, and reporting unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
7. Providing excellent customer service by answering questions and creating a welcoming environment.
8. Adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
9. Managing conflicts professionally and acting with honesty and integrity.
10. Supporting and assisting customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
