Job Description

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from baskets for checkout.
4. Offer to help load bags into customers' cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and clean spills and trash inside and outside the store.
7. Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for product location and price checks.
8. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
9. Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
10. Create a welcoming environment for customers and answer product questions.
11. Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
12. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity.
13. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
14. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:
