Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and striving for at least five items per bag.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
4. Help customers load bags into their cars if needed.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves.
7. Gather and return shopping carts to designated areas.
8. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
9. Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location.
10. Reinforce safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety and legal regulations.
11. Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with inquiries.
12. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity.
13. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
