Job summary

Tony's Fresh Market in Illinois is seeking Courtesy Clerks to bag groceries, assist customers to their vehicles, and maintain efficient checkouts with courteous service. You will efficiently pack bags to maximize space and bring in carts to maintain smooth flow in all weather conditions.

Positions require reliability for weekends/holidays and the ability to stand and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense of details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling product or using various equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available weekends and holidays.
• Store Hours of operation: 7am - 10pm (7days a week).
• Must be 16 years and older for this position.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries for customers and assist to vehicle when needed.
• Be cordial and respectful and provide the best customer service without receiving a tip.
• Pack bags to maximize space without overloading or damaging items.
• Bring in carts when cart flow is low.
• Be aware of weather conditions and come prepared to work.
• Carts must be brought into the store regardless of weather.
