• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
• Fill bag racks and unload shopping carts for customers.
• Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place and the work station neat and clean.
• Help cashiers check out customers efficiently.
• Retrieve stray carts from the parking lot and keep parking lot and shopping carts litter free.
• Assist in stocking milk, eggs, and other products; help customers locate items.
• Never carry on conversations with other associates while bagging orders.
• Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
• Assist with sweeping, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness of store areas, including bathrooms.
• Work in the parcel pick-up area as directed, replace misplaced items, and collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
• Properly use the intercom and understand shelf tags for price changes.
• Stock merchandise and perform other duties as assigned.
