Essential Job Functions

• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
• Fill bag racks and assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place at the front end.
• Unload shopping carts for customers and retrieve stray carts from the parking lot.
• Assist cashiers in checking out customers efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and surrounding areas, including sweeping, mopping, and keeping bathrooms neat and clean.
• Assist in stocking milk, eggs, and merchandise; help customers locate products.
• Never engage in conversations with other associates while bagging orders.
• Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
• Assist in keeping the parking lot and shopping carts litter-free.
• Work in the parcel pick-up area as directed and replace misplaced items to their proper locations.
• Collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
• Use the intercom properly and understand shelf tags for price changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
