Job Responsibilities:

• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders according to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
• Fill bag racks and assist in keeping shopping carts organized and in their proper place.
• Unload shopping carts for customers and retrieve stray carts from the parking lot.
• Assist cashiers in checking out customers efficiently.
• Maintain a neat and clean work station and surrounding areas.
• Assist in stocking milk, eggs, and other products, and help customers locate items.
• Ensure no conversations interfere while bagging orders.
• Understand and explain the ValuCard program to customers.
• Assist in sweeping, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness of the store and bathrooms.
• Help keep the parking lot and shopping carts litter-free.
• Work in the parcel pick-up area as directed and replace misplaced items to their proper locations.
• Collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
• Properly use the intercom system and understand shelf tags for price changes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
