Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across store operations. Team members interact with customers and learn what “above and beyond” service means as part of everyday store duties.

You will work with multiple departments and contribute to a clean, organized store while delivering friendly service to customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.
• Can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
• May perform other duties as assigned or required.
