Job summary

Randolph County, NC seeks a transportation and visitation supervisor to provide transport for children in DSS custody, observe court-ordered family visitations, and prepare written reports of observations. Qualifications

• Graduation from high school and at least two years of office assistant/secretarial experience.
• Ability to transport children safely and observe visits and report observations.

Responsibilities

• Transport foster children to and from family visitations and ensure safety.
• Supervise family visitations between foster children and their parents/guardians.
• Document detailed observations of interactions and parenting skills.
• Intervene during visits when necessary and assist with parenting guidance.
• May testify in court about observations witnessed during supervising visits.
• Coordinate transportation for Work First and Medicaid clients as needed.
