About The Role:

Working Days: Working a 4-shift rotation. Hours may range from 07:00 to 19:00 depending on the shift pattern.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, welcoming and guiding court users.
  • Monitoring premises and visitors via CCTV and x-ray machines, along with other security checks such as using hand-held metal detectors on court users and bag searches on arrival.
  • Patrolling and securing access to buildings and satellite buildings, maintaining communication with the control room using hand-held radios.
  • Responding to panic alarm buttons in Judges' rooms, courts, and offices.
  • Responding to security issues within the complex and recording and reporting incident details.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS and BS7858 security clearance will be completed for the successful candidate.
  • SIA Licence and relevant security experience.
  • Strong people and customer service skills.
  • Good diligence and high work standards.
  • Effective communication skills.

Attendance allowance of £1 per hour can be earned on contracted hours, subject to meeting certain attendance criteria.
