SALARY: The salary range for this position is $62,765.65 to $102,031.51 for Schedule A, and $62,765.65 to $96,929.95 for Schedule B. Newly hired individuals typically start at the minimum of the range. Current Judiciary employees promoted or advanced receive a 5% salary increase, not exceeding the maximum of the range or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Employees hired before August 29, 2015, are Schedule A; those hired on or after are Schedule B.

The Passaic Vicinage has an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to serve as a Court Services Supervisor 1 in the Probation - Child Support Unit. Under the general direction of the Division Manager and Assistant Division Manager, the successful candidate will monitor, assign, coordinate, evaluate, and review team work, as well as implement operating procedures and systems including NJKIDS, Probation Case Jacket (PCM), and eCourts. Responsibilities include developing statistical reports, overseeing projects, and reporting on case and project progress. The position involves conducting formal work performance evaluations, mediating conflicts, training staff, participating in meetings and training outside the work unit, determining appropriate services for customers, and performing related duties.
REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary offers a hybrid work schedule, with up to 2 days of remote work outside Judiciary buildings. To participate, you must install a multifactor authentication app and have high-speed home internet. Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and three years of paraprofessional and/or professional experience, including at least one year in calendar management, case management, enforcement of court orders, or supervision of offenders. Substitutions are allowed: additional experience for education, associate's degree plus experience, master's degree, or law degree for experience. Degrees from outside the U.S. must be evaluated by a recognized service. A valid New Jersey driver’s license is required if driving is necessary. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S., and all new hires are subject to a background check and fingerprinting. In accordance with the New Jersey First Act, new employees must establish and maintain residence in New Jersey within one year of hire.
