About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated, organized, and people-centered professional to join our team as a Court Services Supervisor. The Court Services Department supports daily court operations by assisting the public, managing records, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of court documentation. As the Court Services Supervisor, you will lead a team that serves as the operational backbone of these duties, ensuring workflows run smoothly, policies are followed, and services are delivered with top-tier professionalism. This role focuses on leading staff, improving processes, supporting compliance and maintaining a positive efficient work environment that uphold the departments mission.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will support the Court Services team by:
- Oversee daily operations, scheduling, coverage needs, and workflow accuracy
- Ensure team alignment with the Courts Strategic Plan
- Coordinate training sessions, assess performance, and support employee development
- Collaborate with supervisors, managers, and agency partners
- Document processes, maintain records, and uphold departmental policies
- Assist with talent acquisition and participate in corrective action when needed
- Manage workplace conflicts and promote a respectful, professional environment
- Support project deliverables, process improvements, and change management efforts
- Interact with customers and help resolve escalated concerns
- Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
- Proficiency with case management systems, courtroom technology, digital recording tools, and Microsoft OfficeUnderstanding of legal procedures, accounting functions, and office operations
- Ability to make independent decisions and maintain confidentiality
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Willingness to work extended hours when needed

- Associate’s degree or two years of relevant experience
- One year of supervisory experience (or equivalent training/education)
- Four years of clerical experience or a proven combination of knowledge and experience
