• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1 year of security, law enforcement, or public safety.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and fitness investigations as indicated by ACJA 5-303.
• Must attend Court Security Officer Training Academy within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain required certifications within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Prevents entry of weapons and unlawful materials onto judicial branch grounds.
• Ensures restricted areas remain secure and access is controlled.
• Maintains order and uses authorized force as required by law.
• Detains individuals violating Arizona law and coordinates with law enforcement as needed.
• Documents incidents and security-related information accurately.
