Allied Universal is seeking a full-time security professional in Detroit, MI to provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location. You will conduct screening, verify access credentials, and respond to incidents with calm, professional judgment.

You will maintain accurate logs and reports, perform regular patrols of screening areas and entrances, and follow post orders to deter unauthorized access while contributing to a safe, compliant workplace.

Formación

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen visitors and their belongings using established screening equipment and procedures; verify access credentials and direct individuals to appropriate entry points or departments.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited-item findings, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports for visitor activity, screening results, incidents, and unusual observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns.
