Job summary

Hawaiʻi State Judiciary is seeking a Court Research Analyst to conduct legal research and analyses, update court policies, procedures, and rules, and provide legal assistance to division and section chiefs.

The role requires a law- or policy-focused professional background with strong analytical and reporting skills, supporting the judiciary in a critical policy environment in Kapolei, Oahu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; a Juris Doctor may substitute for two years of experience.
• Four (4) years of professional experience involving research methods and analysis in legal research or court matters.
• Strong analytical, research, and policy analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a staff specialist conducting legal research and analyses; provides legal assistance to division and section chiefs; updates policy, procedures and rules of the Court.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
